Imbolc

The transition time. Whilst I do not necessarily follow Celtic beliefs, I can still appreciate the meaning behind the transition period that is Imbolc. 

For me its, that phase shift between the long nights and short days of Winter and the beginnings of the shift towards Spring. There is a change in the light, the energies of the land, as if they can sense the coming change to. It's like stirring from long deep slumber... the eyelids of the world are just flickering open. 

There is the coming promise of life, the promise of light and bounty returning.
