Exploring Caburn

Mount Caburn
Near Lewes
One of (if not) the highest places in East Sussex? Well it's a blooming long way down and steep. Walking up here at night, I nearly found out the hard way as the edge of the hill crept up on me faster then I anticipated. 😁
Amazing night though. No one about.. no idea why no one else goes out walking in remote regions when its dark! Wind was blowing, it was chilly... but all part of the experience.
I took my little offering of chestnuts, a stone from my garden and a crystal to the top where an Iron Age fort was. Said my piece, remained in silence for a while. Again the energies up there are awesome. We are blessed really with all our scenery and places in Sussex, if we choose to open ourselves to them.

So after nearly toppling over the edge, my night time vigil came to an end and I made the trek back in the pitch black down to my car.
I want to go back!
I want to go back!
